39 Weeks... Appointment update

This weekend there were some definite changes in my contractions. They no longer just felt like "belly" contractions, but much lower, and around my back, and starting to get more intense! Saturday night, we had a little "practice session" (as I like to call it) where they were 6-7 minutes apart, for over an hour, and then they wimped out. I'm sure we still have another week or so, but it's kind-of cool just knowing that my body is "starting to get ready"!

We went to the doctor this afternoon, and the baby has dropped! It was cool because you could see the look of excitement in Sherry's face when she was measuring me, and noted the baby's head down a lot further! Nate said that he could even tell just by how different it looked from the side, while I was laying back. So that was fun!

She did check me, and the I am not dilated yet, but my cervix is soft... so we are definitely getting prepared, just not there yet!

We started our 2-a-day walks yesterday... so we are hoping that helps too!
