9 weeks - Grape
Today we had our first doctors appointment with our midwife. We weren't really sure what all was going to happen, but we were presently surprised when she informed us that she was warming up the ultrasound machine so we could "see our little peanut"!
After going through the normal questions and routine, she stated that she thought I was "measuring big for dates". She decided that she wanted me to have an official ultrasound the following week, since the earlier the ultrasound, the more accurate on due dates it is.
We walked down the hall, got up on the table, and got to see the first picture of our baby, and hear the heartbeat! It was so fascinating! We both thought we would get all emotional, but we were too intrigued with what we were seeing! The baby was flipping everywhere, and had a good, strong heartbeat! It was so cool!
