I have started to notice quite a few changes with me and the baby. The biggest change is the baby is really starting to pop out! Even though I have been in maternity clothes the past few weeks, if I wore a baggy shirt, you still couldn't really tell (or maybe people just thought I was eating too many donuts! :) But not anymore - my belly is much bigger, and I think it definitely looks like "baby" and not donuts! :)
The baby has been WAY more active than in the last few weeks. This weekend I started feeling him on my left side (which hasn't happened before). I have always felt him low, and all along my right side. His kicks are getting MUCH stronger than they have ever been! I get alot of jabs in my liver (which feels awesome) and it feels extra special when they are up in my ribs! lol
I can't wait to see how it feels in a few weeks... I am just so fascinated by the whole thing!!
We have started working on the baby's room. It is all cleared out, just waiting on some fresh paint. Hopefully within the next 2 weeks I can check it off the list!
Our Nurse Midwife (Sherry) is changing to a new practice later this month. We had our meet and greet this morning with both of the doctors at the new place. One of the doctors is new to the area, and is a Doctor of Osteopathy - which totally fits us. The other doctor has been in practice for quite a long time, has a great reputation, and has worked with Sherry before (and we liked him very much!) We have one more appointment at the current office, before we have to decide whether we are going to move with Sherry, or stay at the current office. So we have a lot to decide in the next week!!
I saw you on yahoo chat thing yesterday and was typing you a message and Josh yelled for help and I never sent it. Glad you sent the email with the link. I love reading about your little peanut!! ReplyDeleteWe have news on our front, Jen is pregnant again! Just five weeks behind you. We don't quite have your patience and found out the sex last week... a boy.
We both are a bit hesitant heading into this given that we are so familiar with our daughter. But, time to step-up and dig in.
